All actions performed by the software can be optionally saved to a log file. In addition, the log file can be automatically archived at set intervals so that you can retain a history of events on disk over time.
The latest log file can viewed via the menu bar icon or the History preferences.

How it works...
When logging is enabled via the History preferences, each action performed by ProtectMac AntiVirus is saved to a text file, ProtectMac AntiVirus.log in the /Library/Logs/ProtectMac AntiVirus folder.

Log files are appended with a time stamp depending on whether they are archived daily or monthly. The daily file will include the year, month and day e.g. ProtectMac AntiVirus 10-02-16.log, and the monthly archive year and month e.g. ProtectMac AntiVirus 10-02.log.
